If you’ve been eyeing Valve’s new-ish handheld, this year’s Steam Summer Sale presents a rare opportunity to get the device at a discount. The seasonal event has all three versions of the Steam Deck on sale, offering savings of up to $130 (or $148 if you plan on completing your purchase with the matching dock).

With 64GB of eMMC storage, the entry-level version of the Steam Deck is currently on sale for $359.10, down 10 percent from its typical $399 sticker price. The midrange model with 256GB of NVMe SSD storage and a special Steam Community profile bundle currently sits at $529, down 15% from $529. But the biggest savings can be found in the 512GB version, which features an anti-glare screen, a virtual keyboard skin, and a cosmetically unique carrying case, on top of the same Community bundle that comes with the 256GB model. That one’s $519, down 20% from $649. Valve has also applied the same discount to the Steam Deck Docking Station, which for $71 (usually $89), connects the handheld to your TV or monitor of choice and keeps it upright while doing so.

The Steam Deck is largely considered a loss leader for Valve, meaning it’s sold at cost (or even at a loss) in exchange for the promise of buying PC games. But with massive Summer Sale price cuts across the platform, Valve has to continue to incentivize fence-sitters to buy the console somehow, hence the markdowns. Keeping with tradition, this year’s Summer Sale features price drops of up to 96% off, making wishlist items virtually impossible to resist. The 22-title Valve Complete Pack, typically $145, is just over $6 and includes all of the distributor’s originals, like the Half-Life, Portal, and Counter-Strike franchises.

It’s not just Valve’s stuff that’s at a steep discount (though the company benefits from every sale made on its platform). Browse the homepage or your discovery queue, and you’ll see that major titles like Cyberpunk 2077 (50% off), Red Dead Redemption II (67% off), Spider-Man: Remastered (33% off), and Forza Horizon 5 (50% off) are on sale. Cities Skylines is practically being given away at $9 (70% off), while Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is just $15 (75% off). Indies are included, too: Coffee Talk is 20% off, Slime Rancher is 75% off, and the ultra-light-hearted Tinykin is down 45%.
